In my experience though the girls that usually contact you first, you weren’t the only one they messaged just FYI. though you may be the only one that they actually date or whatever.

The tips you gave are great, and I plan to start posting some really great articles and content on this site since it really doesn’t have too much yet.

I’ve met 12 girls so far off myspace in the last 15 months, and I’m actually dating one now. Some of the girls are great, some were awful. But they were most all girls that contacted me first. I easily could’ve doubled that number if I didn’t turn down big girls or girls with kids.

My best advice if you want girls to proactively contact you is find some good pictures, and rotate them A LOT. There are certain pics that worked great for me, and there is def. more traffice whenever you change your main pic.

Many of the girls that contacted me did not have “dating” turned on. That means that YOU SHOULD ALSO FOCUS ON SINGLE GIRLS THAT DO NOT HAVE DATING TURNED ON.

When you message a girl, always have a catch. I find it important to always include a question for the girl to answer, so that she feels more obligated to write back. Always thoroughly read a girl’s profile before writing her.

And finally, if you do get in contact with women on myspace, here are my general rules:

1) do not meet a girl until you have a full body shot and know her full name and get digits… too many girls hide their extra pounds.

2) plan a brief first date that you can jet out of in case you don’t hit it off. Coffee or one (1) drink. Pref. pick a place where your friends don’t hang out.

3) Assume that the girl is hiding something important, until you have proven otherwise. I have some crazy stories you wouldn’t believe- there is some serious sh#t that I have found out about these girls. drugs, abuse, horrible situations, you name it. Be aware!

4) assume the girl has been dating other guys off the internet. Other guys tend to mark their territory on here. No different than peeing on a tree, they go on the girl’s profile and comment “thanks for the wonderful time last night” or “man I was so tired after last night” or other BS. If your girl has that going on, find a new one or at least do the same back, so that other guys are on notice.

I sent out 7 messages LITERALLY last night and have already gotten 2 responses. That’s probably just the girls that checked their myspace I expect even more

It is not dead at all, maybe you are just contacting them in a poor way.

It is still possible, but the chances for reply became 5% from 50%. I think we should try to approach girls in real life, on streets or whatsoever, because that is still so uncommon and can work much better than this.
